131 India: Location, Geology and Topography - I India is one of the leading countries in the world.  India is a huge country.  Indian culture is the oldest.  It is the largest democracy in the world.  The co-ordinating spirit of Indian culture has not abandoned any religion, caste or creed but has welcomed them by keeping the strings open for everyone. 


 Thus, equality towards all religions and castes is a prominent feature of India.  That is why India has become a "combination of cultures".  Despite many natural and man-made disasters, India continued its progress and development unabated.  Is.

Due to the longitudinal difference, there is a difference of about two hours between the local time of the distant places to the east and west of it.  When the sun rises in the eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh, at the same time there is still night left in West Gujarat.  Thus, the prana time line of India is 8238 east longitude which passes through five states, its local time being considered as the standard time of the whole of India.
