The Rajput era is a very important period in the history of
India. The word Rajput means prince. After the death of Harshavardhana in the 7th century, India became a small
kingdom. Is. The Rajputs ruled over most of North and South India for a period
of 300 years from 500 AD to 1500 AD. This period is also considered to be
the golden age of India. This time is also called the Middle Ages of India. So

Characteristics of Rajputs
