Marine National Park and Sanctuary is situated in a protected area for biodiversity in the Gulf of Kutch, Jamnagar district in the southern end of the Gulf of Kutch. This is a protected area status of both National Parks and sanctuaries. In 1990, it was declared a marine sanctuary okhathi a 270 sq km area of the twins. Before that, in 1982, the Wildlife (Protection core area of 110 sq km) was declared a Tiger Reserve under the law. It is the first marine park of India. The Marine National Park, Jamnagar coast in 30 to 40 islands surrounded by reefs. Of these, the most famous island pirotanaahinni fauna, coral, dugong and paksarahita porpoise.
